CREATE AN ACCOUNT

Sign up as a player with your own account, or as a parent to manage registrations for your children. Both flows take under five minutes.

PRIMARY ACCOUNT

For players registering under their own name.

A Primary account is tied to you as the player. Your name, date of birth, gender, and club affiliation are stored on your profile and used to verify eligibility at every tournament you enter.

Click "Register Now" on the homepage

Go to aspiretournament.com. On the homepage you'll see two buttons — click Register Now (the dark bordered button). Don'tclick “See Open Tournaments” — that's for browsing. On mobile, both buttons appear stacked below the headline.

Enter your email address

On the Create Account page, enter your email address — this is the only field at this stage. Tick the Terms of Service checkbox, then click Create Account →. A 6-digit code will be sent to this email to verify it. No password is created — Aspire uses passwordless sign-in.

Enter the 6-digit verification code

Open your inbox and find the email from Aspire Tournament. Enter the 6 digits into the boxes shown — you can type or paste the full code. Then click Verify & Log In →. The code expires in 15 minutes. If you don't see it, check your spam folder or click Resend code.

Complete your player profile

Fill in your first name, last name, phone number, date of birth, and gender. Then choose who you represent under “I represent a…”:

School

You play for a school team or represent a school.

Club

You play for a badminton or sports club. Enter your club name — the system will suggest known clubs. Your SLB Number is optional.

Individual

You're not affiliated with a school or club.

Once done, click Complete Profile →.

You're in — your Aspire ID is live

You're taken to your player dashboard. Your Aspire Tournament ID (e.g. AT-1448) is shown on the card at the top — click the copy icon to copy it. From here you can browse open tournaments, check your registrations, or manage your account.

FAMILY ACCOUNT

For parents or guardians registering children as participants.

A Family account lets one parent or guardian manage registrations for multiple children. Each child gets their own Aspire Tournament ID and participant profile — the parent's account acts as the manager.

Before you start — the adult registers first

The parent or guardian must create their own account first using the 5-step flow above. The profile page will show a reminder: “This profile is yours. You can add family members (kids, spouse, etc.) separately from your account after signing in.”

Planning to compete yourself too? Your own account doubles as your player profile — you can enter tournaments under your own name andmanage your children's entries from the same account. No second account needed.

Tap "Add Family Member" from My Account

After signing in, open My Account — tap the Account tab in the bottom nav or the My Account tile on your dashboard. Scroll down to find Add Family Member (Register a child, spouse, or family member under your account) and tap it.

Fill in the family member's details

The Add Family Member form opens. Fill in their first name, last name, date of birth, and gender. Under Affiliation, choose what they represent (School / Club / Individual). Add their SLB Number if they have one — it's optional. Then tap Create Profile.

New Aspire ID assigned — check the Profiles tab

The new profile is created instantly with its own Aspire Tournament ID (e.g. AT-1449). Open the Profiles tab to see all profiles under your account — each shows their name, ID, gender, DOB, affiliation, and SLB number. Your own profile is marked PRIMARY. When registering someone for a tournament, pick the correct profile from the participant selector.

YOUR ASPIRE ID

Your permanent player identifier across all Aspire tournaments.

Every participant on the Aspire platform has a unique Tournament ID in the format AT-XXXX. This ID:

Appears on draws & fixtures

Your ID is displayed next to your name in all bracket and round-robin draws.

Used at tournament check-in

Referees and organisers confirm your ID to verify your identity and eligibility.

Permanent across tournaments

The same ID follows you across every organisation and tournament — it never changes.

Visible on your dashboard

Find it on the card at the top of your player dashboard at any time. Tap the copy icon to share it.

Can't find your ID? It's shown on the card at the top of your player dashboard home screen. If you registered a child, their ID appears under My Account → Family.
