HOW TO REGISTER

From finding a tournament to receiving your confirmation — a complete walkthrough of the registration process on Aspire.

BEFORE YOU START

Two things to check before registering.

You need an Aspire account

Registration is only available to signed-in users. No account yet? Create one here. Takes under five minutes.

Check your eligibility first

Each event has age and gender requirements. Review the Eligibility Standards guide to confirm you qualify before registering.

FIND A TOURNAMENT

Browse open tournaments and pick the one you want to enter.

Browse the tournaments listing

Go to the Tournaments page to see all upcoming events. Use the filters to narrow by date, location, or discipline. Tournaments with open registration show a green Registrations Open badge.

Open the tournament page

Click a tournament to open its detail page. Here you'll find the schedule, venue, entry fees, and the full list of available events. Confirm the registration deadline before continuing.

SELECT EVENTS

Choose your discipline, grade, and doubles partner (if applicable).

Events are grouped by discipline (MS, WS, MD, WD, XD, etc.) and grade (U-grades, Open, Masters). Only events you are eligible for will be selectable — ineligible events are greyed out.

Choose a discipline

Tap or click the Register button on the tournament page to open the event selector. Pick your discipline (e.g. Men's Singles, Mixed Doubles). Disciplines that don't match your gender are automatically hidden.

Select your grade

Within your chosen discipline, pick a grade — U13, U15, Open, Masters 40+, etc. Your age-eligible grades are highlighted; ineligible ones are locked. You can register for more than one grade per discipline where the event limit rules allow it.

Add your doubles partner (doubles events only)

For doubles events (MD, WD, XD, BD, GD), search for your partner by their Aspire Member ID or name. Your partner receives a notification to accept or decline the pairing. The entry is only confirmed once they accept.

REVIEW & SUBMIT

Confirm your selections before sending your registration.

Review your registration summary

A summary screen shows every event you've selected, the entry fee per event, and the total due. Check the participant details (name, Member ID, affiliation) and doubles partner entries if applicable.

Submit your registration

Click Submit Registration. Your entry is recorded immediately and marked as Pending Payment— you'll be redirected to the payment screen. Your spot is held while payment is pending.

PAYMENT

Complete your entry fee payment to lock in your spot.

Entry fees are collected by the tournament organiser. Aspire supports two payment methods — choose whichever the organiser has enabled for this tournament.

Online card payment

Pay securely by card directly on the platform. A small platform service fee may apply, displayed on the payment screen before you confirm.

Bank transfer

Transfer the entry fee to the organiser's bank account and upload your payment slip on the platform. The organiser manually verifies the transfer — this may take up to one business day.

Select your payment method

On the payment screen, choose Pay by Card or Bank Transfer. The total amount due is shown including any applicable service fee. Doubles-entry fees are typically split — each player pays their own share.

Complete your payment

For card payments, enter your card details on the secure checkout page and click Pay. For bank transfers, make the transfer and then upload your payment slip using the Upload Slip button — include the transaction reference number.

CONFIRMATION

What happens after your payment is processed.

Registration confirmed

Once payment is verified, your registration status changes from Pending Payment to Confirmed. You'll receive an email confirmation. All your active registrations are listed under My Registrations in the player dashboard — check there at any time for status updates.

What to expect next

  • Draw schedules are published by the organiser before the tournament — check My Registrations for updates.

  • Arrive at the venue with your Aspire Member ID ready for check-in.

  • For bank transfers, allow up to one business day for the organiser to verify your slip.

  • Doubles entries require your partner to accept before the registration is fully confirmed.
